Some Ottawa neighbourhoods are worth exploring on foot, and the Glebe is definitely one of them.
Just south of downtown, the Glebe is known for its beautiful century homes, mature trees, and lively Bank Street. But step away from the shops and cafés, and you'll discover quieter residential streets filled with historic brick houses, inviting front porches, and architectural details you don't often see in newer communities.
What makes the Glebe special? 🌳
It's the balance between urban convenience and neighbourhood charm. Residents can enjoy independent restaurants, local shops, the Lansdowne Farmers' Market, and walking paths along the Rideau Canal, all close to home.
